Our Coffee Journey: From Bean to Cup

Before your first sip, there’s a story. Discover the incredible bean-to-cup journey that culminates with professional quality coffee, every time.

Imagine standing at a coffee tree. You have to pick only the finest beans – what do you look for? The finest cherries. It takes patience, but it’s always exciting when they reach that perfect ripeness.

No two roasts are the same.

Ah, the roasting. When those wonderful aromas make an appearance and the body is revealed. Different beans respond to various roasting levels, so we consistently calibrate times and temperatures to make sure they’re perfect.

Light Preserves fruity aromas and acidity, and delivers a lighter body.

Medium Develops more balanced flavors with a lower acidity and a medium body.

Dark A dense body and low acidity.

Better together
Once the beans are ready, we play matchmaker. Different beans from different regions have different nuances. They’re blended based on character. And when we get that perfect balance, sparks fly. That's how great coffee is made.

What’s your grind?​

Grinding introduces even more of those NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® aromas you know and love. The beans are grinded the long way…and the short way, depending on the type of coffee.

Coarser Grind for Long Cups

The aromas are gently extracted, thus preserving their quality for long coffees.
The coffee journey doesn't end yet. Once ground, we keep it fresh. We carefully package each blend into our patented smart capsules, ensuring the fresh flavors and aromas are locked in and sealed – only to be released by you.
