A great machine, better than my previous Lavazza and in answer to John I have to guess Don't you think the word "manual" in the title gives it away.

Terrible

Purchased this 27,12,2022 and it’s the worse coffee machine I have ever brought, yes the reservoir is large, but you have to guess when to stop it filling the cup as it doesn’t automatically switch off like my previous ones

OK -BUT....

Was able to select correct pod measure on my previous De Longhi machine. Also there’s no container to place used pods into-good thing I kept the old one. However, I do like the water capacity 1.2l instead of 0.8l + Drinks are hot & frothy.

Measure??

The machine works well. The only criticism of it is that the water container does not have a scale on it. As it's a manual machine and the pods always have a volume of water required to make the coffee, a scale would be really useful. I have made my own rough scale using white electricians tape, a ball point pen and marking the tape where each 50 mils reaches by pouring water in 50mils of water at a time. It works well but whoever deigned this machine hadn't thought things through. A neatly printed stick on label should be included in the box if marking the water container is too expensive!

good machine makes hot coffee

i am onto my third machine and each on each one the power button changes from green to amber after only 4 weeks indicating it needs descaling i have used dolce gusto descaler and each time they only go 4 weeks before amber shows fortunately i bought the first machine from curry and took out their extended warranty
