Once the trial starts on 30 January 2017 all you need to do is save your used pods in the bags we have provided. It’s important that you use these personalised labelled bags to return your pods, as they are our way of tracking your participation in the trial.
Please do begin collecting your pods now, even if you do not have your bags yet; this will help ensure that you are able to return a full bag when the trial begins. Only Nescafé® Dolce Gusto® pods can be returned for recycling; putting other pods or brands in the recycling bag will remove you from the trial.
Once you’ve collected enough used pods to reach the dotted line on your collection bag simply fold the top of the bag over and seal it using the adhesive strip provided. Then all you have to do is place your full bag on top of or next to your blue recycling bin for collection with all of your other recycling. There is no need to wash out your used pods, since we’ll be separating your spent coffee grounds from your used pods to produce lovely rich compost. But, if possible, please do try to remove any excess water from your used pods to reduce the amount of water in your recycling bags.
If you’re unsure of the collection day for recycling you can either refer to the calendar of collection days that you receive from Bracknell Forest Council every quarter; or you can input your postcode on the Bracknell Forest Council website Bin Collection Day Finder.
If at any time during the trial you have any questions or suggestions on how to improve the trial, need information from us, or simply need more collection bags, please call our Consumer Services team on Freephone 0800 707 6066 or drop them an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and they will be happy to help you.
Thank you. We look forward to receiving your used pods!
