Transform your weekday mornings with Preludio, our fantastic new long coffee designed to make a bigger mug of coffee that you can enjoy for longer. With a rich flavour and delicate aroma, its smooth, round characteristics are enhanced by adding milk.

Preludio is a rich blend of South American Arabica beans and Southeast Asian Robusta beans, which together bring body without increasing bitterness. The beans are softly roasted to release their delicate aromas and ground in a specific way to avoid any harsh notes during long extraction.

The Robusta beans bring body without harshness and are ideal at maintaining coffee flavour through a long extraction as well as delivering the sweet cereal base of Preludio.

The South American Arabica beans are lightly roasted to bring subtle fruity notes and this completes the aromatic richness of Preludio’s aroma & flavour.

Intensity 4, Preludio has a very smooth & soft texture.

Vile and weak

Bought these as I like to have an Americano that i stretch to about 1 1/2 cupfulls in my travel mug on my commute. Thought that this might be better suited to that kind of volume. tastes like vile piss-water. Tried it twice to make sure it wasn't a bad pod, but no, this is truly disgusting. not sure what to do with the other 14 pods now. maybe use them to get rid of unwanted house guests?

Tasteless

Very weak and over-rated. I tried using two pods in a small cup and was still disappointed. I assume that the offer of a free box is to get rid of this product!

Vile wishywashy nonsense

I can't believe I paid good money for this. It tastes like watered down coffee that's maybe been mixed with a tea bag and left in the sink overnight then microwaved. Must be an acquired taste. I tried mixing it with others, adding sweetener/ caramel and its still as disgusting. It's so bad I emailed them asking if I could return them to which they declined

Lovely coffee

This is my favourite coffee that I've bought for a machine. I can't understand some of the bad reviews. This coffee isn't bitter at all, just a great cup of lovely coffee!

Dishwater

Received these pods as part of a bulk multibuy freebie. After tasting them I honestly thought it must be a duff batch and that is why they were being offered free. Surely, no way could these be intentionally so weak and tasteless? Looks like weak beer rather than coffee and the cardboard box packaging probably has more flavour. I tried using 2 pods in a vain attempt to get double strength and it became darker - but with the same zero flavour. Smacks of a cynical re-branding exercise to dumb-down decent coffee with a cheap and nasty alternative. Watch as the regular pods inevitably become "premium" varieties with a 50% surcharge...

Café increíble!

Love this variety of coffee! It has an interestingly bold nature to it, with deep and subtle notes that add a slight bitterness to it that are balanced out by it's smooth texture and warming aromas - a perfect drink to start your morning with and a coffee that would put a smile on anyones face!

Yummy as hell.

This coffee is absolutely magic to me. I love Lungo don't get me wrong. I think the way you do it may be part of the problem. I love to put sweetener in the cup first. Add Preludo and then add some double cream. Just delightful.

Delicious

I really like this coffee. Lovely flavour, smooth and not at all bitter but I do make it stronger.

Unpleasant taste and aftertaste

Very disappointed as I like a long coffee. Unpleasant stale taste with a horrid lingering aftertaste. Went in the bin will not buy again. However cortado a beautiful coffee especially with added hot milk.

nothing quite like it

bought a box in Asda as new quite looking forward to it from description what I tasted was beyond description Never tasted coffee quite like it the coloured water I got from the machine was like something that had been around for a number of years was weak and I thought it had been old enough to have gone stale QUITE REVOLTING don't know if the bin appreciated it any less than me
