Great for cappucino

Bought mine months ago at Currys at half the current price, manual is a bit naff, so downloaded one. I had a low tray made on a 3D printer to replace the drip tray and now my tall glass fits. Makes good coffee but a bit noisy. A black lead on a black machine would have been nicer, take note Mr Delonghi designer.

Great for cappucino

I bought mine months ago at Currys Pc World at half the price they are currently selling at (£70). Manual is a bit naff but used their website to download a decent one. I read all the comments about cups not fitting and removing the drip tray. I had that problem too until I had a new tray made on a 3D printer that is 1/3 height of drip tray and now my tall glass fits The red lead is a bit of an eyesore considering it is a Black Machine, black would have been better Mr Nescafe designer. It does make great coffee though and I can get through a box of pods in a day!! Supermarket versions are cheaper and just as good. This machine takes pride of place in the kitchen

Quality

Love this machine 100% better than my old tassimo, Like the fact that you choose the strength of your drink, I now make perfect lattes everytime.

Disappointed

Received as a gift. Water never hit enough, drink never large enough or too weak, a lot of waste. Would not recommend as coffee maker

Not the best

Red cable? Why. Not a lot of cups fit, no automatic cut off, you have to guess when making a coffee with milk, price of pods from dolce are dearer than supermarkets,

Awful machine

Upgrades my Tassimo for Dolce Gusto Jovia machine. 1st think i noticed was the red cable, who though this would look ok it doesnt looks odd in my kitchen, 2nd is my round coffee cup doesn't fit in the well, 3rd the pods do not froth the coffee like my old machine, 4th no auto switch of so have to stand over while it makes coffee. so for this reason will be returning to shop and invest in another tassimo.

Why don't Latte cups fit?

Who ever designed this coffee machine needs to be retrained. Your latte coffee pods require a specific milk/coffee volume, however, the design of this machine prevents the required size cup from being used unless you remove the drip tray! The top of the cup space is curved so doesn't fit the cups. What a basic design error. Perhaps you could state clearly the maximum height of the cups that are needed in the produce blurb. It makes coffee perfectly well, but please design machines that fit the latte cups you sell.

Excellent introduction

So I bought my self a Jovia at a great price in a sale. Admittedly I did not notice it said manual but the £20 welcome offer made me happy. Tip - to get the best out of you Jovia measure the capacity of your drinking vessels.. That way your drinks will turn out perfect. Having now mastered my machine I realise the manual operation can be used to tweak your beverages, Ideal for the mixologist out there.

Love it

Had this machine a week and I have not used my kettle once. The Hot chocolates are my favourite, especially the Caramel hot chocolate. The machine itself is simple to use, and if you're not sure, then there are You-tube videos to show you. Yes it does have a red cable and most people have said about it but I'm not in it for the cable. Just need a wider range of non flavoured Tea's.

Red Cable / No Auto cut off.

I had, and loved, my Mini-Me coffee machine for over 3 years until the tank started to leak. I replaced it with the Jovia - big mistake. I miss the automatic cut-off, and that red cable! What can I say that hasn't been said before, except perhaps "Product Recall" to have a black cable fitted. If I hadn't used this machine I would have returned it but I'm now stuck with it so have to make the best of it. It does still make good coffee though.
